About Karen
Karen Kurtz received her doctoral level Diploma in Analytical Psychology at the C. G. Jung Institute in Zürich, Switzerland. Her years of training in Switzerland included clinical analytic work, psychiatric practicum, depth personal analysis, experience in analytic Sandplay, and comprehensive coursework in psychology.
Karen has a background in Education and taught in the United States for twenty years prior to her training in Psychology. She served on the faculty of the Analyst Training Programme of the Ontario Association of Jungian Analysts in Toronto for six years. Karen has given public lectures, weekend seminars, and a variety of classes for groups in Ontario, Nova Scotia, and the United States.
Karen offers Jungian Analysis in her private practice at 18 Colborn Street in Guelph, Ontario.
